"Aftermath" a Limited Edition Mask & Custom Packaging.
Concept //
The idea of releasing Limited Edition RZ Masks was inspired by brands like Kid Robot. At Kid Robot they sell Vinyl Artist Designed Toys, some of which are tucked inside "Blind Boxes" where there is a chance to get any number of versions or variations, some very rare and other fun but more common. We wanted to bring the same idea and fun to the customer base for RZ Sports Masks.
Design Structure //
In order to handle over 230+ Packaging Files for RZ Mask, but still be able to release these fun custom editions a great design structure is needed. Each part of the product design goes through pre-planning of how to use best programs and design tools in a way that allows for a change across the entire line as well as being able to release new looks easily. For RZ Mask's Packaging there is a master file with various imported sub-files, so a simple type change, disclaimer or design update can be done one time and the entire retail line will be updated and exported for the next re-order. The structuring also anticipates that a New custom branded package design or fun limited edition look can be designed and all the important package info and features are adopted instantly into that new file. BRENNER design studio will always be a design studio excited about the wild and fun concepts to design, but its our obsessive controll over organizing website and clients design files that allows for great things to be done in little time and without limitations down the road.
Customer Response //
The LE Masks have had a great response from RZ's customers and in particular they help bring back lots of returning customers. Selling products that have Unique Artistic Style and the occasional Limited Edition release keeps people following a brand and spreading the word to their friends.
